With the release by Media Blasters of GoLion on DVD *and* finally subtitled, I'm starting an episode/comparison guide for the anime that inspired the dub. We already knew that some violence was cut and some story lines/ideas changed when the show was dubbed into Voltron, but many of the details were literally lost in translation to much of the English speaking fan base. Now, I can go beyond clips and bits to bring a more detailed guide to light.
There was only one 'season' of GoLion, for those that may have forgotten. Hence, only the first 52 eps can be compared. I've also included this handy-dandy text file, which will pop up in a new window, and serve as a name guide between the anime and dub worlds.
