26. Defeat the Invisible Enemy
Voltron version: The Invisible Robeast
Honerva introduces the latest invention from her occult science. It lends the ability to become invisible and Daibazaal thinks it would give a fine advantage to a beastman. Sincline selects the strong Bullbar as a candidate, and hopes this will be his ticket to finally claming Fala as his own.
On Altea, Fala is returning from an autumn day of collecting fruit with Hys, Moody and Shorty. Their carriage is attacked by the beast, and it threatens to make off with Fala. Shorty manages to get a distress call back to the castle, and Kogane worries for Fala's safety. The group manages to evade the beast for a time, but run into some trouble near a cliff. Kogane and Seidou arrive in time to rescue them, and all safely arrive back at the castle.
Sincline ups the ante by super sizing the beast, who then goes on a rampage in the villages. He hopes to draw Fala out and claim her. Kogane senses she is his target, and orders her to stay behind. He and the rest of the boys try their best against their unseen foe, but get in trouble once the battle moves under water. Fala comes to the rescue, but ultimately gets snatched by the beastman. Kogane once again recues her, GoLion is formed, and they are able to finally defeat the beast.
Key Differences:
Cut scenes include deaths of some citizens as the beastman destroys villages.
Facts:
The Beastman's name is Bullbar.
