It's a vernal equinox(ish) miracle! I managed to figure out why I couldn't get a backup of efiction to work on ANY hosting - and it had to do with what version of php was required. After knocking that down a few notches, restoring the Fan Fiction archive went far more smoothly. Still a lot of tedious copy/pasting, but heaps better than trying to do that from sql tables. So the gist of what I'm blathering about is, the Fan Fiction archive is back up. Enjoy!
February 17, 2026:
Much of the site content has been restored. Unfortunately, since the wordpress re-install failed, some data was lost and I'm doing my best to cobble things back together. This, because my main backup hard drive died, and my older backups did not have the current version of some of the information/pages. This also meant I had to re-code the galleries by hand AGAIN. The VV and LV galleries are back in the sense the basic structure is there and there's content in each individual gallery - I just have to add to them to flesh them out.
Along the same vein, I'm missing the author pages for the hand-coded fan fic archive. I can't for the life of me get a database to hook up to anything, including an old efiction backup to copy that info back from, so I'm trying to work from the sql tables and let me tell you - few things have annoyed me more. Indeed, continue the pardoning of the dust - and the screaming - as I do what I can to get the rest of the things restored.

Pardon our dust....VoltronCentral.net has changed hosts. However, attempts to bring the wordpress version back to life was about as successful as your average robeast fight against the blazing sword. Attempt will be made to bring the site back in a static html format. Watch for broken links and distant screams from your friendly webmistress.
