36. Mortal Combat Between Light and Shadow

Voltron version: Lotor's Clone


Daibazaal issues a challenge to Sincline - stand ahead of a beastman and fight GoLion himself. To get around this issue without risking his own hide, he asks Honerva to clone him.

On Altea, the Golion team is training when some kind of strange malfunction temporarily affects the Lions and shorts circuits in the Castle. They realize it's a beastmen messing with their electronics.

Kogane has an idea to take an underwater shuttle out to the beastman to help disable it before it can get any closer to the castle. There, he meets up with and battles with Sincline's double. The double almost gets the better of him, until Sincline and the clone have a telepathic argument - the double does not like taking orders.

Ultimately, the beastman destroys the double, and Kogane is able to escape with the help of Moody. Afterwards, they are able to combine GoLion and dispatch the threat.


Cuts:
The brutal portions of the clone's murder of two Galras was cut.
