41. Brave Shirogane's Brother
Voltron version: There Will Be A Royal Wedding
Picking up where the last episode left off, Sincline orders his soldiers to be sure Amue is dead. Before the mystery man she's with can avoid it, they are discovered and run for it. Angry, Sincline orders her recaptured. Once they are safe, he reveals himself as Ryou Shirogane - the former Blue Lion pilot's younger brother (in Voltron, this man was portrayed as Sven also, instead of as a new character).
As the two begin talking, Ryou assumes Amue must be from a far off galaxy if she does not recognize his brother as one of the brave GoLion pilots. They argue about who pilots Blue Lion, until Amue remembers that before Fala there was another pilot who died at Honerva's hand. Ryou comes to realize that the dream he had about his brother was a message from beyond the grave, telling him to continue the fight against Galra.
He then helps Amue let some Heraclean prisoners escape. The two are at some odds still - Amue is miffed that Ryou is in it for himself, for vengence for his brother, now. Ryou then calls Castle Gradham to tell the he's rescued Amue and helped some prisoners escape.
Sincline has the communication investigated, hoping to find Amue's location to no avail. Honerva is intrigued to learn Shirogane has a brother. Honerva also has a plan to draw out Amue. She has the transport of escapees captured and brought back to Galra. They are tortured to death, in the hopes of drawing out Amue. The people beg her not to show herself, and die praising her name and Herecles. Ryou uses it as a way to get her fired up to help bring down Galra.
The remaining Heracles slaves lose their lives so that Ryou and Amue can escape. Honerva convinces Sincline to take the Goddess of Hell with him to lay waste to Heracles, after they notice GoLion is heading there. The battle goes badly for GoLion until Amue lends a hand.
In the end, she is reunited on Heracles with her brother, Alor, and Ryou vows to join forces with the GoLion pilots to help defeat Galra.
