51. GoLion's Desperate Battle
Voltron version: Lotor the King
GoLion and Daibazaal have their epic showdown. And thanks to a message from Fala's father and the efforts of the space mice, GoLion is able to defeat the mecha beastman, and kill Daibazaal.
This enrages Honerva who vows to make Sincline pay for putting Daibazaal in such a position. When she helps GoLion out of a tight spot to spite Sincline, he attacks her cat and Honerva. But before she is killed, she reveals some startling family secrets.
With his father and Honerva out of the way, Sincline declares himself king of the universe and goes back to focusing on GoLion, who has separated into the Lions to attack Galra Castle.
Differences: Huge. Not just the deaths that were cut, but Honerva spilled some juicy gossip on her way out.
Cuts: An amusing scene where the Space Mice's mouse mech spells out a message in smoke signal is cut (it said "Say Hello to the Platt family. Fala."). The biggest cuts are both Daibazaal's and Honerva's deaths (Jaga, her cat, was also killed).
Also, it wasn't mines fired at GoLion but missles from the "flesh canon" - a macabre device that shot human missiles. Yikes.
Fact: Honerva does indeed reveal that she was Daibazaal's mother, a fact Sincline apparently did not know up to that point. She also told Sincline that his mother was an Altean woman.

Quotes: "Watch your tongue, witch. I don't tell lies." - Sincline
"Let me tell you. Your mother was an Altean bitch." - Honerva to Sincline.
