Recent updates:
The Fic Archive has returned. Feel free to read or upload your work. That should finally do it as far as the site recovery being fully complete. The Gallery has a new DXV section, based on caps from the DVD set.
In a related update, the DXV section now has its own Episode Guide and Review where I have begun chronicling the episodes. As with the other guide sections on the site, visitors will be able to leave comments, or if you prefer, there is a thread on the message board for comments on the DVDs as well.
Finally, I added a DVD page to the DXV section for those who want some info on the set. The next set is due in May!

Big batch of updates includes:
The Fan Fic archive has returned, and I've added a fresh chapter of LISTD as well.
There is a new wallpaper to check out. Also available for download are some donated goodies to the GoLion section. First is a clip of Daibazaal's death. Second is a sound clip of the Italian GoLion theme. Many of the video clips throughout the site have been uploaded to YouTube as well, allowing another venue of viewing.
I also went through all the links and added a new one, plus weeded out all the broken ones. There were a lot of old geocities sites that bit the dust with Yahoo's closing of that. But if you were an owner of such a site, or know where such a site moved to, please let me know what your updated link is and I'll be happy to add you back. I also updated the featured site of the month. The Fandom Awards for 2009 are being discussed at the Yahoo group. If you wish to volunteer or participate, please check us out. The Gallery and the Episode Guide and Review saw additions of captures from the DVDs, up through episode #59.
The GoLion Episode Guide and Review was updated to episode #30, with fresh reviews and screen captures.

Recent updates:
Updates are in the Fic Archive, including two new installments to In Your Mind. The Gallery has a load of new captures - some from the dvd up through episode 36 (which can also be viewed by-the-episode in the episode guide). There's also a bunch of new DXV captures from that dvd set as well.
The DXV Episode Guide and Review was updated so that now the entire first dvd set is covered. Now I'm just waiting to get my copy of the next set to start reviewing!
The site newsletter is officially moving to facebook - just FYI.

Recent updates:
Updates by Lionora are in the Fic Archive. The Gallery has a load of new captures - some from the dvd up through episode 72 (which can also be viewed by-the-episode in the episode guide). There's also a bunch of new GoLion captures from that dvd set as well.
The GoLion Episode Guide and Review was updated with fresh reviews up to episode 42 - just ten more to go!
There are a few new wallpapers to look at.
The site newsletter is officially moving to facebook - just FYI.

Lots of DXV section updates:
The Gallery has even more new captures from the second set of DXV dvds.
The DXV Episode Guide and Review was updated again, completing all reviews for subtitled eps released thus far.
I've also updated the DXV dvd page - the second set page got some tweaking, plus I added a preliminary page for the third and final volume along with noting its September release date.
Finally, I bought a board book from Japan which features the DXV series - you can view scans in the new DXV Memorabilia section.

Big gallery updates:
The Gallery has undergone a big software upgrade. I've also broken the VV galleries into more subcategories for easier browsing, particularly concerning the Drules, Alliance officers, and the Ships and Landscapes.
In addition, I finished taking captures from the US DVD and added eps 37-52 to the Episode Guide and Review as well as the capture gallery.
Also, the third set of DXV dvds had its release date moved up to October 26th.

Recent updates:
Updates in software all around: the Fic Archive, Gallery, and message board. The gallery update means the old skins won't work. But for the fic archive, it means the challenges feature was fixed and I can finally approve some long-awaiting fic authors' works. Sorry, email notifications weren't working, so I missed a lot. Oh and I've added a new chapter of LISTD. Please check it out! As for the forum, I'm trying to keep my head above Mundanian waters, and have been poking around in there. I've revived the caption game so please stop in.
Also, The Gallery has had more captures added from the remainder of the GoLion episodes.
On a related note, the GoLion Episode Guide and Review was updated with the final episode reviews. Enjoy...and feel free to comment and rate them yourselves.
I've added a new wallpaper by playing around in photoshop to merge the two madman wallpapers - you'll note it's also the basis for the new default theme background.
Speaking of photoshop, I've been honing my skills lately and so have added some brand new banners to the site. If you're interested in a link exchange, let me know! Or if you already are in the affiliate rotation and would like to submit an updated pic, please do.
There are a few new links up to check out. I also cleared out any broken links or updated them where necessary.
And lastly, if anyone is still using the old subdomain to link here, voltron.purrsiathunder.net, please update that whenever you can. It is no longer in use and so the redirect will not work anymore. Thank you!

As members of the site newsletter and forum, or readers of my blog know, I've been having issues with the site lately. At least two different hacks, one site-wide and recurring, have been an issue here since May. Looks like the goal was to spam visitors, but it was very annoying and making things lag around here.
So I made the decision to delete everything off the server and start over after previous measures failed to keep the second attack at bay. I'm reconfiguring a few things and taking some extra security measures while slowly bringing the site back. Areas that allow visitor input, like the gallery, forum and fic archive will likely be last to return as they are the most likely areas where vulnerabilities remain. No data should be lost as I made database backups. Please be patient as I only have a few hours of freetime to devote to this on the weekends, at most. Each weekend you should be able to see a little more progress here, so please check back often.
I thank everyone who has contacted me so far with words of support and offers of help and advice. I *do* hope to do a proper content update, and I appreciate your patience for that as well. Once I get this sorted, I can get back to building this site proper.
On a final note, as I start putting things back, some images, links or files may be temporarily broken. Hopefully I will catch them as I go, but if a problem persists, please feel free to contact me and let me know. Thanks!

First of all, the guestbook and the episode guide review features are restored. I believe everything is restored save for the fan fic archive, which I plan to have back up and running with a coming VV side update. With it, hopefully, new fic chapters as well.

First of all, the guestbook, games/quizzes, character profiles, and the episode guide review features are restored. I believe everything is restored save for the fan fic archive, because I lost one critical file and haven't had time to check my various back-ups for a copy. With any luck, that'll come back with the next Voltron Central update.
Specific updates:
The Fandom Awards section got an update for both the 07 and 08 award years. Congrats to all the winners, and thanks to those that supported this site. The Gallery and the Episode Guide and Review saw additions of captures from the DVDs, up through episode #18. I think I finally got the hang of the new capture software :) Also, I linked up the MST version of the Hazar Is Demoted script on its episode review. It was written quite a while ago, but never before publically linked.
There is also a new review of the original pilot episode, thanks to the DVD extras.
The Drule Chronology section is finally completed.
Finally updated the DVD page for the three VV sets. Also note, in case you haven't noticed the news ticker on the main page or on the forum, that DXV is due in February.
The Other Clips section opened due to a donation of the VV Robot Chicken clip. Also notice that here and in the Video Clips section, most things are now available to stream live from my youtube account. Kinda meant to do this years ago when I set up my account, and finally found the time and the original mpeg encodes to most of my clips. Hope to include the LV stuff next round.
Also, it's come to my attention that since the new set-up here where file extensions are dropped, that some people have had a hard time opening downloaded files. Do remember that these are in zip files, so all you need do to get your computer to recognize the file after download is to rename adding the .zip extension.
