17. My Brother Is A Robeast
Challenge from Space
The Royal family from Planet Pollux has made a visit to planet doom. Lotor seems to have a particular thing against the planet's prince, Avok. So Avok is sent to the arena where he successfully beats a hiddeous beast. Infuriated, Lotor challenges the man himself and they get into a heated sword fight. But then Lotor spies Avok's sister and little brother standing on the sidelines - the sister, Romelle, bears a striking resemblance to Allura. While he's busy gawking at the look-alike, Avok disarms Lotor.
It's agreed that Avok should become a Robeast and his family is actually pleased seems how they have something against the Alliance, and Arus in particular.
Lotor returns to Pollux with the royal family as they prepare to lay a trap for the Voltron Force. Pollux, apparently, is like Arus' sister planet but bad blood developed between the two worlds and they have been at odds ever since.
The Voltron Force decides to go to Pollux to settle things. The short of it is, after getting caught sneaking into the royal palace, the VF gets back to their Lions to form Voltron so they can do battle the Avok Robeast. After quite a fight, Voltron is victorious and Romelle and Bandor decide its no use warring with Arus so they join forces with the good guys.
However, Romelle is taken against her will back to Doom - apparently to be Lotor's play thing.
