6. Fall to the Meteor Shower
Voltron version: A Storm of Meteors
Synopsis:
After weathering a meteor storm, Drake has a nightmare about being caught up in one that is much worse. When he awakes, his crew informs him that some other ship is now in the midst of the same storm of meteors. Drake orders a change of course, and his side-kick, Roche, wonders if he's actually going to try to rescue the ship (at this time, they do not seem to realize it is the Rugger Guard). Drake brushes off his worries, stating that he had no such intentions as to put their fleet in danger for an unknown ship is against the interests of the Galveston Empire. Drake intends to move in and attack the ship while it is still damaged.
Supreme Commander Dewa (Commander Steele) checks in with Ise and Asimov. Asimov requests a support fleet. Dewa informs him that they decided to focus efforts on a space fortress, with a Miran fleet already arriving there. The Salans are set to join them, at which time they will be able to provide support for the Rugger Guard.
Drake's plan to push them to the meteor planet succeeds. He finally communicates directly with the Rugger Guard Captains and formally introduces himself. The two sides exchange information about who they are, where they're from, and what they're doing out in that corner of the universe. Drake asserts that the Galveston's rule that section of the galaxy and orders the Rugger Guard to leave and return to Earth or suffer the consequences. They captains realize the trap of the planet too late, but thanks to the Dairugger, they are able to escape. They leave with new knowledge about their enemy, and forward a tape of their talk with Drake to Galaxy Garrison.

Earth and Planet Galveston are both located in the Milky Way Galaxy. Where the Rugger Guard is exploring is 'far away' from the Milky Way.
