Summary: Allura, thought to be an only child, actually had an older sister offered to King Zarkon in an arranged marriage to his son, Prince Lotor, to maintain peace between the two planets. King Zarkon knew Planet Arus held the keys to Voltron and was willing to do anything to get his hands on the mighty robot, the planet and its people to give Planet Doom all the slaves it would ever need and the power to control the universe. The King and Queen of Arus realize their error but it's too late. Their oldest daughter, Megan, is taken to Planet Doom and believed to be lost forever. In one evening Allura loses her parents and her sister and Voltron can't come to the rescue. It will be 8 long years before hope returns to Planet Arus and the Castle of Lions.
