VV Update Log

August 29, 2007

Finally, a proper content update!
-- In the Info Section: The FAQ was updated with info on the chatroom and I also updated the art submission faq - it was slightly out of date!
I did more work on the Drule Chronology chart...just four more eps to go! The sheer mind boggling aspect of this project has been a hoot, too.
-- There's more desktops to download in the multi-media section. They are based on the new skins on the site.
-- In the DXV area, I posted the introductory page.
-- The forum has some new skin choices, again based on the ones I integrated into the VV side of the site. And as usual, there's lively discussion and the fun caption threads to check out there as well. Come check out the OB - ie the "Other Board" ;)
-- It's been a long hiatus, but I finally updated the sequel to Winning Days, In Your Mind. The slump has seemingly lifted. Hope you like it, if you're still keeping up with it!
-- Don't forget, if you want to affiliate with the site, I switched to a new method. Read how to become one here and contact me if you're interested. Thanks!
-- Finally, the Links were updated with a new featured site for September, along with a new archive of past featured pages...now I can keep track of them!
There were a few other minor little tweaks and modifications done, and some typical software updates. Here's hoping it doesn't take as long to do something more here. I think I'm back on track ^_^

Say hello to the new site, completely revamped and moved to the new url! Things got moved, improved and there's even some new pages on the site so have a look around. There's a few updates to see, too.
-- I did a little tweaking in the notes areas for my fics. I posted the fandom award I won for Winning Days in the appropriate spot, and I also updated any broken youtube links for the music pages.
-- Speaking of which, the awards page was updated with Voltron Central's wins from the second annual round. I also updated the fandom awards page to reflect this year's over all results - congrats to nominees and winners alike. See ya next year ;)
-- In the media area, the audio page was split so that DXV and VV stuff has their own section.
-- On the message board recent topics include an upcoming movie for Voltron and Fleet of Doom on DVD.

Since I was busy with the site move (and moving IRL, ugh!), I wish there coulda been more meat to these updates but the hope is now that this part is all finished I'll have time to add some more content next time. And be sure to let me know if something is busted - it happens in a major move. Til then...have fun!

Updates are thinner than I'd like, but shit - like distractions, dying inspiration, and winter blues - happens. So I figure I might as well post what I had uploaded a little while ago to make at least that much all official-like:
-- I noticed there has been additions to the fic archive since last update. For one thing, Lady Mako added a really nice supplemental piece to the IYM story. If you hadn't checked and didn't see what Chios added in December, take a look now :) Lastly, fixed the "Read Fan Fiction" link on the fic page. Musta became broken when I updated Efiction to 3.0
-- The Fandom Awards are gearing up for the second annual ceremonies. You may have noticed the banner change on the site to help promote it. It's friendly and fun, so check it out and join up at the Yahoo Group so you can nominate/vote for your favorite sites, fics, and art work.
-- I added to my author's notes page by adding my Album Challenge series and also providing some youtube links for some of the music that was used in Winning Days.
-- Added colorbars made by Nicole to the site, and renamed that area 'Icons & Such'.
