Voltron's Weapons

The following is a record of what Vehicle Voltron can do weapon-wise (click on thumbnails to view larger image). If you know of something that's missing here, feel free to email me.
Of course, the individual vehicles and sub-units have their own specialized weapons, of which I may chronicle separately at some point. I've started to include some of Voltron's hand-to-hand types of skills such as kicks, holds and so on he can do without firing a shot. It's a work in progress!

Spinning Laser Blades
Description: Sharp discs that form on Voltron's shoulders, he can use them to throw like deadly frisbees as they slice through anything in their path. Rarely does it finish off a Robeast, though. Rather, this is usually just a disabling precursor to the Blazing Sword.

Solar Combat Spears
Description: These short double-sided spears form at the side of each of Voltron's lower legs. He can use them to throw like daggers at his opponent or combine them into one large double-ended spear. Like the laser blades, this weapon doesn't usually off a robeast but it does a lot of damage.

Ray Beam Whip
Description: Voltron reaches behind his head to retrieve this piece of weaponry which is a glowing, energized whip. He uses it to grab things, give them a toss or just a good lashing. As with the others, it rarely defeats a robeast (if ever) but it's a good tool for certain situations.

Electro-thermal Blast
Description: This weapon comes in the form of powerful beams of energy that come from several points on Voltron's body. When unleashed on an enemy, it does considerable damage.

Blazing Sword
Description: This is the coup de grace of Voltron's weapons. He often forms the Sword by taking the Spinning Laser Blades together to make the sword. Once this item comes out, it's curtains for any robeast still standing.

Eye Beams
Description: Just like in Lion Voltron, Vehicle Voltron can shoot destructive rays of energy out of his eyes at an enemy. While it packs a good wallop, it rarely dispatches major aggressors such as a robeast. In fact, I've seen VV employ its use in scant few instances.

Wing Beam
Description: Ginger's sleek red jet can shoot beams of various intensity, depending on what episode you watch, that appears to stun or at least temperarily deter an enemy.

Solar Wind Blast
Description: This is a blast of wind that originates from the same area of VV's upper arms as the Spinning Laser Blades. Blow me down!

Miscellaneous
Description: VV also possesses a litter of other weapons to choose from, many of these I haven't heard a specific name for as of yet. I'll try to get screen caps of them, though, and as a general rule, these aren't heavily damaging weapons anyway.

Other Tactics
Description: All out of ammo? Need to conserve energy? No problem. Vehicle Voltron has also been known to resort to good old-fashioned hand-to-hand combat, too.
VV has been known to kick, stomp, toss, boot, drop kick, karate chop and otherwise abuse its foes.
