Main Featured Characters: Jeff, Cric, Cliff, Commander Hawkins, Colonel Cross, Captain Gorvan, Captain Nerok
Original U.S. Air Date: 01/16/1985*

Synopsis: This episode involves the joint exploration of the Planet Zay with Captain Gorvan in charge of the Drule teams. Colonel Cross calls Hawkins to congratulate Hawkins on his peaceful efforts with the Drules. The teams from both sides launch and begin explorations, with Jeff remarking about how Zay reminds him of a prehistoric Earth - complete with dinosaurs. Gorvan is pleased with the peace as well, until Nerok calls to report that now he is in charge of explorations and to cease working with the Alliance. When Gorvan informs Nerok he has these orders to cooperate from Hazar, Nerok says the only thing Hazar is in command of now are the slave dungeons on Planet Drule.

The two teams are exploring superbly, getting along great for once with no sign of Drule treachery. That is, until Nerok shows up in person to do as he pleases. The exploring Drule units go back to their ships, and the Voltron Force is unnerved their peaceful work will be undone.

Sure enough, the Drules return and start burning down the forests. Hawkins contacts Gorvan and asks to speak to his superior, but the Drule is dodgy, declaring that they have decided to do the exploration "alone". Instead of fighting, Jeff pleads with the "robot" captain to talk to Gorvan before it comes to blows. While they wait, things calm down temporarily. Of course, Nerok is not pleased and admonishes Gorvan. Though he's tired of fighting, Gorvan must do what Nerok commands and so the destruction continues.

For once, Jeff is the voice of reason, begging the Land and Sea units to wait to see if Hawkins can get through to a Drule superior before fighting back. The VV Team gets their answer in the form of a giant Robeast while one final plea to Gorvan yields nothing. Therefore, the Alliance forces are forced to fight. Of course, once Voltron is formed the robeast is easily destroyed.

However, Nerok is not finished depsite Gorvan's pleas for reason. Nerok launches another robeast! Jeff is ready to strike, but Hawkins warns that Voltron needs a turbo charge and may not be able to handle this bigger robeast. However, it's too late to flee and voltron finds himself in the thick of it. To make matters worse, a tornado forms and is coming at them. During the battle, the twister swallows them up and Ginger has to use her wing beam to break them free leaving the robeast to perish in the tornado.
