Synopsis: The Drule Captain Zerka disables the Alliance’s space station that runs the solar energy system so that Voltron can’t be formed. At GG headquarters, Captain Newley speaks of how vulnerable they are now, with the VV force so far away and unable to help even if they weren’t as a Drule attack on Earth is imminent. Though repairs of the solar energy system is ongoing and the Voltron Force is patrolling their corner of space, all feel helpless as they watch the Drules close in on what is to many their home planet.

People on earth are evacuated to underground shelters when Zerka’s fleet is spotted near the moon. Though Lisa assures Jeff that they’ve figured out where the Drule fleets are coming in from and that will help them be able to thwart reinforcing troops from helping the invasion, it’s little consolation to Jeff; he’s taking he invasion particularly hard. Zerka, meanwhile, has unleashed a Robeast on Galaxy Garrison City and victory looks certain. Until help arrives from nearby Alliance member, Planet Argus. Zerka, deciding he’s outnumbered, pulls out of the invasion. Afterward, Space Marshall Graham sends Captain Carver, the commander of the Argus fleet, out to help protect the Explorer as they’re vulnerable without Vehicle Voltron. With the extra help, the repairs on the solar energy system are done and the teams do a nice alternate ‘practice’ assembly of VV.
