Original U.S. Air Date: 03/05/1985* Episode Transcript: Here Synopsis: The Explorer crew heads toward a planet, which looks a lot like Dreska, where the former leaders of the old Planet Drule are staying. The premise is to meet with them and try to make peace. However, these being the rogue outcast leaders of Drule, they have very different plans. This "meeting" is just a distraction while Emporer Zeppo and Throk take control of the new Planet Drule. Jeff has serious misgivings about trusting the Drules, even after all that has happened. Hawkins is willing to give the Drules the benefit of the doubt - of course! That's quickly cast aside when the Drules fire on the Voltron force...now it's all out war. Borgam seems fine with this, hoping the fighting buys Zeppo time to capture the new Planet Drule. The plan for the Voltron Force is to get into the control room of the base and try to find classified documents that will clue them in on what the Drules are really up to. Meanwhile, Zeppo has put down the resistance on the new planet and taken over. However, he and Throk worry about Hazar's popularity among the people and decide to bring him back into the Council, hoping to create the impression that the Emperor plans to rule fairly. Borgam gets the good news but is not allowed to come home until he defeats the Alliance. But given how hopeless the battle is, Borgam tries to flee. Needing more information, Jeff and the others land their ships just inside the base and go on foot from there, having to blast their way past many Drule soldiers. Jeff and Ginger spot a Drule shuttle-type vessel and climb aboard, only to almost get blasted by some Drules. Luckily, Cliff provides some cover fire and joins them on the vessel. Borgam's final order as he flees is to launch the newly completed Robeast, just as Jeff and Cliff come upon what they're looking for. It's a map of the solar system, showing the new Planet Drule with the plans to invade it. Realizing this battle was all a ploy to keep them away while the coup happened on Drule, Jeff wants to report back to the Explorer. But time is running out for the Robeast is on the loose. The teams quickly reach their vehicles and form Voltron. Once the Robeast is destroyed, Jeff takes the plans they found to Hawkins who laments that the same evil leaders now control Planet Drule. However, the team leaders swear to go help liberate the people of Drule who had finally thought they'd won their freedom...and that's how the series ends. comment system disabled temporarily thanks to spam happy assholes!
