46. Color Me Invisible

Synopsis: Marshall Graham gets a report that the Voltron Force had found documentation at an abandoned Drule outpost that charts an frost planet called Alteus. Graham grants them permission to explore the planet but to proceed with caution.

Hawkins hopes to find info on the planet about Hazar and the URF group on Drule. This means their planned stop on planet Solaris will have to wait.
On Drule, Throk reveals that the map the Alliance found of Alteus is a fake in the hopes to draw and trap the Voltron Force there. Once trapped, Throk declares the Drule Empire will be free to re-establish their supremacy.

Dorma meets Throk outside the council meeting and tries to get him to see he's making a huge mistake in continuing to war with the Alliance. Throk will have none of it, of course. On her way home, Dorma starts to plot about breaking Hazar out of prison when she's cut off by another transport. The transport holds Baki, leader of the URF and he kidnaps Dorma.

Meanwhile, the Explorer nears Alteus. The Land and Sea Teams wake up from a slumber to launch, while the Air Team stays behind. All the while, Hawkins can't shake a foreboding feeling. As well he should - the Drules have launched a group of special ships that appear invisible. And once the Voltron Force nears the planet's surface, begin driving them toward an ice fortress.

Seeing the teams in trouble, Jeff's group joins them and succeeds in getting trapped with them in the fortress. While the teams are trapped, the Explorer is under siege by the invisible fleet.
Inside a glacier in the cavern where the Voltron Force was trapped was a robeast. The robeast managed to swat the Stratofighter, knocking it into a crevass and knocking out Jeff and Chip. Jeff wakes up but they can't move without Chip (nevermind that Ginger flew the Stratofighter by herself a few episodes back). Eventually, Chip awakes and Voltron is formed. I think we can guess what happens next!

The episode ends on Drule, where Baki pleads his case to Dorma and she must decide whether to join the rebellion.
