Vehicle Voltron Drinking Game

Other sites may have been first with the news, but who else would advocate getting you drunk to celebrate the great upcoming DVDs due domestically for Voltron? And give you such a fun way to do it? Yes, kids, it's a Voltron drinking game (and by "kids", I mean us 21+ overgrown types :lol: ). And hey, if you have the Aussie DVD set you can get a head start!

Let's get this party started.

Step 1: Rustle up your favorite alcoholic drink(s) of choice (or if you're more of a sugar high person, your favorite soda). Make sure you have a lot on hand and can afford to have a hangover the next day ;)

Step 2: Pop in Vehicle Voltron episodes! Start watching.

Step 3: Every time something in the list below happens on the show, do as instructed. Usually you'll just be taking one drink per occurance, but certain things may warrant special instructions so pay attention. A printable copy of the game is available for those who want a portable version.

Take One Drink for Each of the Following:

Every time an episode ends with Jeff making a smarmy speech

Each time Jeff defies orders

Any time a Drule lets loose with a bout of maniacal laughter

Every time a Drule Commander thinks he's won

Any time Jeff throws a punch

Any time Hazar plots against the Alliance

Every time Jeff gives the typical forming Voltron instructions

Every time the VF says "Go Voltron!" in unison

Any time the Alliance trust the Drules and it backfires

Each time Dorma refers to Hazar as "my brother"

Any time Hazar tries to make peace with the Alliance, sincerely

Any time someone on the Explorer stares pensively out at the cosmos as they think

Every time someone salutes somebody else

Every time a Drule says the word "empire"

Every time the blazing Sword is formed

Each time Cliff makes a wisecrack

For each time Hazar is mocked behind his back

Any time Cric has a feeling or premonition

Every time Jeff is lectured by Commander Hawkins

Each time Hawkins personally meets with a Drule face to face

Every time Professor Page has to explain something scientific

Every time somebody jokes about Sammy's cooking

For every time Lisa gets emotional

Any time Zeppo actually appears

Every time Rocky carries Chip on his shoulders

Any time Mongo is referred to as Malvor

Every time someone on the Voltron Force gets knocked out in battle

If Voltron is formed more than once in an episode

If a creature of some sort comes to Voltron's aid - and saves him

If the fact that Voltron only has five mintues of stored energy is mentioned

If a Drule is held captive

Any time the ladies on the team are shown putting on make-up

Any time Jeff sits in Commander Hawkins' seat

If the blazing sword is used to destroy something other than a Robeast

Every time the Drules ambush the Alliance fleet

Any time Voltron fights more than one robeast in an episode

Any time Voltron gets down to business and forms the blazing sword first thing

If Voltron breaks apart or loses/forms without a part

Any time the VF get homesick or get mail from home

Any episode where a new planet isn't explored

If victory is achieved without Voltron

If Voltron stabs the Explorer

Every time the Vehicles try to handle a Robeast on their own instead of forming Voltron straight away

Any time the Supreme Council is impressed by Hazar

Any time Sea Team member Zandee has a line or more of dialogue

Any time the Drules discuss the condition of their home planet

Any time an episode centers mainly around Garrison City

Any time something from the Lion Voltron series is mentioned or shown

Any time the teams go on foot and fight without their ships

If the blazing sword doesn't appear and/or ISN'T what dispatches a Robeast

If Voltron does not make an appearance

Any time a female Drule appears with a speaking role who is not Dorma

Each time there's a new Alliance fleet commander

Any time there's something different from the norm about the formation sequence of Voltron visually (different camera angles, pans, or sequences)

Any time someone else besides Jeff gives the order to form Voltron or the blazing sword
