Various clips I ripped from the Aussie dvds. Email me any scene requests and I'll see what I can do (or if you have a file, send it for me to host), though I will not host entire episodes. Sorry.

 Opening Sequence |
1:13
The opening sequence and narrative that appeared at the start of all 52 VV episodes. |
 Closing Sequence |
0:54
Closing sequence and credits that appeared at the end of all 52 VV episodes. |
 Forming Voltron - Traditional |
0:27
This is the typical sequence you'll see whenever VV is formed in most episodes. |
 Forming Voltron - Alternate |
1:35
Ripped from "Raid on Galaxy Garrison", this clip features the teams as they shuttle to their ships, launch and then go into a very different Voltron formation sequence. |
 Stabbity |
0:44
From "Nerok Scores Big", Jeff accidently uses Voltron to stab his own command ship. I hate when that happens! Doh. Gotta love Hawkins' reaction though: "What are you trying to do? Destroy the Explorer?!" |
 Jeff's Shot |
0:51
Jeff is shot by a Drule robot after pushing Lisa out of harm's way, then Ginger patches him up. From "A Man Made Sun". Unique in not all of the blood was cut by WEP, but they did cut the initial close up/blood spatter frames from the DXV version. |
 Hazar and Father |
0:30
Hazar discusses with his father the state of Planet Drule and the devastating effect of a wayward sun. (note that toward the end of the series, it's mentioned the Drules' carelessness regarding waste was a major factor in the planet's death - so much for consistancy). This is from "Great Stone Space Faces". |
 Death of a Captain |
0:35
WEP sort of made a boo-boo here in not making it clear that the very much flesh and blood Captain Keyo escaped this attack unscathed, though they did cut the shot of the bombs bursting through the floor of the ship - and tried to toss in a "robotic" sounding voice at the last minute. Nice try! Historical in that it's the only onscreen fleshie death that got by the censors. Also features a lovely bit of typical Jeff-defying-orders: "I don't care what orders are - let's form Voltron!" From "Help Not Wanted". |
 Ice Cream & Vegesauce |
0:38
Also from "Help Not Wanted", this scene got recycled a lot with slightly different dialogue each time. Here, the team leaders are berated by Hawkins for not following orders and told to eat a gross combo as punishment - ice cream with vegesauce topping. Strict military op they have running here. Leavenworth's got nothing on this torture. |
 Say What? |
0:37
In this clip from "Planet Stop for Repairs", the team leaders plead with Hawkins to take the initiative and strike the Drules before they can be attacked themselves again. The reason I clipped this was for Cric's line toward the end. Obviously, I know he doesn't *really* say this, but if you're not paying attention it's easy to think he's saying "what else can we do but f-off and go home?" Doh! Or maybe I'm just too easily amused... |
 Fight & Lecture |
2:12
Jeff steps in to defend Chip from an Alliance guy bully, and ends up getting sucker punched and a nice shiner. Afterward, he gets lectured by his teammates about setting an example as their leader, to which Jeff doesn't take kindly to. Ginger has to step in before Jeff and Cliff exchange more than just harsh words. From "Building a New World". |
 VV Loses An Arm |
0:47
In the episode called "A Curious Comet", Voltron takes a decent beating from a robeast that results in getting his right arm shot off. And though they don't show the split, apparently this caused Voltron to have to reassemble given that the next scene is well, Voltron reassembling. |
 VV Loses a Leg |
1:58
This clip of the one-legged, gimpy Voltron was from "The Planet Trap" (actually labeled as "Just Like Earth" on the Aussie discs *sigh*) and features a scene in which Voltron has his right leg shot out from under him mid-formation. Lisa is knocked out, and Voltron fights sans a leg for a bit. And nobody quite knows why the rest of him was already formed - as we all know, VV usually forms from the feet up and most definitely not leaving his right leg for last. Oops.
 VV Loses His Head |
1:10
Because Voltron missing parts is fun! From episode 20, "Defend the New World", this clip shows how Jeff and his ship are taken out of action leaving Cric with no choice but to form Voltron without him. Jeff is out cold so Voltron fights for a while w/o his head. |
 Fleet of Doom Intro |
1:10
Contains the intro to the Fleet of Doom movie, which sums up the movie nicely and the movie is the only time LV and VV fought together on film. Though Toei was contracted to do the animation, this movie was also not a dub of a Japanese original toon. Also the only clip here so far *not* ganked from the Aussie discs. |
