Notes on LV/MOTU Crossover

Working Title: A Royal Pain. It's not going to be song title inspired. Going to give the songfic thing a rest on this one.

Basic Premise: Nanny and Coran are pushing once again to get Princess Allura married to a worthy royal suitor, and word reaches Eternia where King Randor and Queen Marlena think it might do their son, Prince Adam, some good to look into it. Of course, being He-Man's alter ego, he's not exactly eager to leave Eternia but can't really protest on that basis either. I'm sure Teela will go along as his body guard, along with a few other allies.
Of course, Skeletor may be intrigued and follow - not realizing Eternia's going to be He-Man-less of course - with a few of his henchmen in tow, too.
Basically, I'm not using this as a vehicle to get Allura and Adam paired off, but I thought it might be fun to cross the two universes and see what happens. This would be classic, 80's Masters of the Universe, by the way.

Scheduled to Begin: I want to get at least one of my other current WiPs done before I start posting this one. I need time anyway to tinker with it and see if it will even work out. Crossovers can be tricky and I don't want it to be *too* far-fetched. I do have the first chapter completed and beta read, though.

Parts: No exact number, but I'm sure it'll be a chaptered fic.

Setting: Mostly it will take place in the Denubian - on Arus and Doom - but there will be some scenes set on Eternia as well.

Sequels? None planned at this time, but never say never.

Direct canon references: Unknown at this time.

Pairings: Nothing solid planned, but of course there might be allusions to the same stuff LV canon laid out for us - some unspoken feelings between Keith and Allura, and Lotor's little obsession with her.

Main Character Insights: Basically, these two canonverses will collide, and we'll explore how the characters can play off each other and work - or not work - together for their collective goals. Purely experimental, and meant to be on the lighter, more fun side. Not my usual M.O. of littering fics with corpses :-p
