7. The Lion Has New Claws

The team is awakened by the castle alarm. It would seem an intruder has gotten in the castle, but it's not until after Pidge attacks the 'intruder' that they learn it's really the Princess' governess who has returned. Nanny, as she is called, is not impressed with the young men that comprise the Voltron Force.

Soon the castle alarm sounds again. The team is incredulous to see someone is taking a wild ride in the Blue Lion. They quickly see that it's Allura in the Lion. She explains how she feels it's her duty to learn to fly the Lion in Sven's absence. The others take off in their Lions and manage to prevent the Princess from killing herself, though she does land badly and gets injured. Upon waking in the safety of the Castle, she's ready to go back to the dangerous task of learning to pilot the Blue Lion. But Coran and Nanny urge her not to do something so risky - Nanny even gives her a spanking in front of everyone!

When Zarkon attacks with a vicious Robeast, Allura wants badly to assist by flying Blue Lion. But Coran has other plans and forcibly puts her in a chair and ties her to it. Luckily, her Space Mouse friends chew through the ropes. Allura gets in the Blue Lion just in time as the Robeast was giving the other lions a pretty hard time. The team is too relieved that they can form Voltron to admonish the Princess, and that's just what they do. Of course, Voltron dispatches the Robeast leaving Yurak with yet another defeat.

Though Nanny is still upset that the Princess put herself in such peril, the team welcome her with open arms.
