As members of the site newsletter and forum, or readers of my blog know, I've been having issues with the site lately. At least two different hacks, one site-wide and recurring, have been an issue here since May. Looks like the goal was to spam visitors, but it was very annoying and making things lag around here.
So I made the decision to delete everything off the server and start over after previous measures failed to keep the second attack at bay. I'm reconfiguring a few things and taking some extra security measures while slowly bringing the site back. Areas that allow visitor input, like the gallery, forum and fic archive will likely be last to return as they are the most likely areas where vulnerabilities remain. No data should be lost as I made database backups. Please be patient as I only have a few hours of freetime to devote to this on the weekends, at most. Each weekend you should be able to see a little more progress here, so please check back often.
I thank everyone who has contacted me so far with words of support and offers of help and advice. I *do* hope to do a proper content update, and I appreciate your patience for that as well. Once I get this sorted, I can get back to building this site proper.
On a final note, as I start putting things back, some images, links or files may be temporarily broken. Hopefully I will catch them as I go, but if a problem persists, please feel free to contact me and let me know. Thanks!
